Banafsha Elhami is a junior lawyer at Pemberton Robertson Family Lawyers, having recently joined the firm in February 2026. Her practice focuses on child and financial matters.
Banafsha was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in October 2024 after completing her Practical Legal Training through the College of Law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology from Deakin University (BA), a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), and a Masters in Criminology from Murdoch University (MCR).
Prior to joining the firm, Banafsha gained experience in family and criminal law as both a junior lawyer and legal clerk. Her work included drafting court documents such as affidavits, applications and consent orders, preparing matters for hearings, and conducting legal research.
Banafsha also completed an internship with the SCALES Community Legal Centre Family Law Clinic, assisting clients with legal research, document preparation and client interviews.
She is committed to providing clear, practical support to clients navigating complex legal matters.
